Jana Plavec

Photographer

The author was born in 1979 in the Czech Republic. Graduated from Prehistoric archaeology, currently finished Photography at Fotoacademie in Amsterdam. She´s mainly focused on social topics, including for all life of minorities, socially excluded or rejected groups and indivuduals, using photography as a medium for telling the stories of others she meets. She is interested in people and their environments interaction, their mutual influencing and actions, especially in extreme conditions they have to live in.
