Matias Maroevic

Matías Maroevic (b. 1979, Argentina) Currently lives and works in Buenos Aires Matías received fine arts training from renowned Argentinian artists Alberto Goldenstein, Guillermo Ueno and Bruno Dubbner at institutions like Escuela Municipal de Bellas Artes Rigolleau and Centro Cultural Rojas. He also studied under Raúl Flores and Lena Szankay. He has worked as photography director for art galley Planeta Cúbico from 2008 to 2011, within the space of Pasto Galería. His work has been acquired by private collectors on a national and international scale, and has elsewhere been featured extensively, with exhibits and shows organized in Buenos Aires (Apetite, POPA, Wallrod, SAC, Pasto, Studio 488), Lima (Lima Photo), Bogotá (Odeón), Mexico City (1x1) and Frankfurt (Jetz oder Nie). More recently, in 2015, his work has been shown at Parma-based galleries Circuit Off, Perfect Circle Gallery and Fogg Art Photo Gallery; and, in 2016 / 17, at Berlin’s Anita Berber. 207 / 18 , at Berlin Anomalie Art Club
