Artist from Ukraine, Anastasiia Chorna, was born and raised in Odessa in 1991, the year communism was abolished. Studied architecture and was a fashion model for almost 10 years. Her inspiration comes from post-soviet and soviet life. She is deeply moved by it, loves the beauty and ugliness it contains. Besides the USSR related topics Anastasiia wants to bring her personal view on female beauty. Her art is about her emotional traumas. As an immigrant in New York she is fascinated by it's diversity.
