Giulia Mozzini

Photographer

Giulia Mozzini, born in Verona in 1995, after graduating from classical high school, moved to Milan in 2014 to study photography at the Italian Institute of Photography. She specialized in photojournalism at John Kaverdash photography academy, with the teacher and reporter Alessandro Grassani. In 2016 she exhibited at Galleria Meravigli, in 2018 she joined Milan Photofestival with the project "Morocco". From 2019 she's president and blogger for NESSUNO[press], a cultural association's spreading photographic culture by organising workshops with the most talented and influent visual storytellers in Italy. In March 2020 her work "Life of a Repentant" was selected for the exhibition at Biennial of Female photography in Mantova (Biennale della Fotografia Femminile). She is focused on social research, investigating individuals by telling their personal stories, paths and backgrounds to bring to light those micro-realities that are not yet known.
