on taking self-portraits

When I was in my early teens I started photographing myself and I haven’t stopped since. I photograph myself in similar settings over and over again, following an urge and intuition to do so. I imagine the I being a splinter storm, that is ever changing, evermoving. Through photography, I can collect some little visual splinters and keep them for the future.
