The title of the series refers directly to the creative process, rather than the description and explanation of the project. As I said in the previous post, in this series I photograph instinctively, guided by my walks. This title evokes for me this particular attraction that we have for subjects in photography. Sometimes we are attracted by things and we don’t understand why. We just want to photograph it to make sense of it, to keep it with us, to inscribe it in eternity. 

“A Strange Attraction” also refers to a song by The Cure, my favorite band. The song is about a love affair that turns into an obsession and ends in disappointment. And that’s kind of the case with my photography series. It’s like a love story. During my research and the creation of the series, I was obsessed with finding what I call “my strange attractions”
