For my first posts as guest artist I wanted to share some outtakes from The Books of Islands introduced by the Presqu’île series that is my artist-feature this week. This ongoing project is collection of books to be published. Every book focuses to a specific small island. While Presqu’île focuses on landscapes in a small peninsula in Normandy, Christmas Everyday holds back to singular moments on Christmas Island. This island is a small remote Australian territory in the Indian ocean. The place is looking like paradise dream island but reveals an overwhelming history.
