Every week an artist whose single image was published by Der Greif is given a platform in which to blog about contemporary photography.

I first got to know Maryanne Casasanta's work after submitting some images of mine to a great website she once ran called »Together«. Her work reminds me that photography can be a way of letting someone see through your eyes. Something that brings me back to working with the camera is a genuine love of looking at light. This work gives a satisfying preciousness to moments that make you stop and stare.
