Here is it: Nancy Göring – Geh' aus mein Herz For my work, »Geh’ aus mein Herz« I worked for one year, starting from the idea of sexual assistance, with the topic of sexuality and disability. In the last three months of these development process, my focus has moved away from the concrete situation of emotional moments that are directly related to sexual assistance. There are additionally created nude portraits that show disabled people in their living environment. Disabilities play already in previous work a big role in my photography. However, it is never the disability itself interesting. First and foremost, I want to tell with my work about human being in general. For me, it really makes no difference whether someone has a disability or not. The working process is always a complex balancing act regarding my protagonists. It involves both closeness and distance as well as a great deal of empathy. www.nancygoering.com
