I step on my dad’s feet. I look up to see my dad’s face and I stretch my short arms out to grab my dad’s hands. We look like two penguins. My dad holds my hands gently. He slowly raises his right foot and lowers it to the back of where he was just standing, then raises his left foot and lowers behind where his left foot was located a second before. He is moving backwards, but I am slowly moving forward. Dad and I feel the recoil of our rising knees at the same time. […]
