Ever since publishing the newspaper Deadline, which topped numerous best-of lists and won a special mention at the Paris-Photo Aperture book award last year, everyone knows that Will is thoroughly interested in the medium, the history and the social impact of newspapers. Already in his amazing collage Down These Mean Streets he used hundreds of newspaper clippings alongside his own large format photography to tell the story about the financial crisis in the US. Of all the newspaper works Will Steacy has made, the headline collages are amongst my favorite. They are absolutely amazing. Take your time and really read them.
