Some LA Flowers is a series of color photographs made between 2017 and 2019 in and around Los Angeles. My goal was to build a cross-sectional portrait of the city from a botanical perspective. Flowers play an integral role in the Los Angeles landscape, co-existing with highways, gas stations, dead-end roads and alleyways.
There are some parts of this great sprawl that will never even dream of the others, and there are some LA flowers that will never touch dirt.
