Sitting in the cold light of the screen and looking for warmth, we sometimes click, scroll and swipe through other peoples touches.
The series »wrap your arms around me« appropriates imagery of gay porn that is re-photographed through a macro lens of an analogue camera. With the recording, a shimmering grain and pixel veil covers the fucking bodies, sweaty skin and twisted limbs.
The gaze is on a search that formulates a longing in queer desire and is also its expression of loneliness. The work speaks about the cruising gaze which is searching for warmth but hardly ever finds it for longer than just a short moment.
