At the root of every civilization – and consequently of all mankind – the most important need is to ensure constant and stable access to food. Without stable access to food, there is no further development of a civilization. When food is plentiful, people can focus on a career or self-pleasure, building infrastructure or developing technology.
 
In the ongoing project Food! I am interested in the relationship between human and food, when food is plentiful. I ask myself: How have “We” as mankind gone from every day praying before every meal to mass wasting of food? How does the process of a desacralization looks like and is it related to its mass production? What is the modern image of food encoded in the human subconscious – is it almost as beautiful as fake and only meant for a show on an Instagram?
 
And finally: How is the modern processed food related to the nature?
