I was born in Eastern India in 1990. Growing up I was interested in different forms of expressions, like music, sketching, and sports. As I grew older, my interest in academics increased and I studied engineering and then worked in the tech industry. While in grad school, I fooled around with a Nikon DSLR that my brother bought, but it took me my first assignment a couple years later that got me thinking of pursuing photography as a career path. Soon after, I quit my job and moved to Mumbai to assist Aneev Rao, a fashion photographer. My journey then took me to study MA Photography from University for the Creative Arts, UK. The education I received there gave me an understanding of art and opened my mind to appreciate it like never before. After practising photography in London, I have recently moved to Mumbai, India.
