André Borges is a 25-year-old bisexual Brazilian artist, resident of the suburbs and slums of the Northwest Zone of the city of Belo Horizonte. Working as a photographer, documentary filmmaker, art director and cultural producer, he conceived several projects with brands, artists and young people in the community for artistic and cultural purposes. Currently on the rise with his project “BR CRIA”, a magazine that focuses on Brazilian artistic and peripheral youth made invisible by the formal market. Celebrating its roots, cultural heritage has always been its north and this is reflected in all its artistic work, which in addition to having a Vintage style, is sensitively contemporary and realistic, fully portrayed through analogue photographs and cameras from the 2000s.
