Profile

Anne Lass

Photographer

In her photographic works, Anne Lass  investigates different aspects of human living space in the beginning of our 21st century. Especially in urban cityscapes, she  finds conflict areas that influence her  images: conflicts of functionalism and individual development, the association with nature, the concourse of construction and vastness and, last but not least, to human interaction. She graduated from Folkwang Universität der Künste in Germany and has exhibited in institutions such as  C/O Berlin, Australian Center for Photography, Peter Lav Gallery and GrazMuseum. Her projects have been awarded and  published in monographs and in various photography publications such as Camera Austria, Uncertain States Scandinavia, C42 Magazine,  Hijacked Germany/Australia, Field Notes/ Another Place Press  amongst others. Her current project Low Season will be published by Another Place Press  later this year. Anne Lass is Danish and German and lives on the Danish island of Bornholm.
