Birk Thomassen was born in 1988 in Aalborg, Denmark and grew up deep in the Danish hinterland. He studied fine art photography at the Glasgow School of Art and now lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. His work often deals with intimacy, escapism and fleeting moments of sexually charged intensity.
