Edith Roux

Photographer

Edith Roux is a French artist based in Paris. She works with video, photography and installation. Her work deals with socio political issues in a very subtul way that leaves space for imagination and interpretation. After studying art history in the United Sates, at Emory University, Atlanta, she graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d’Arles in 1993. Her work has been widely exhibited in France and abroad Her work is part of prestigious collections such as Maison Européenne de la photographie, Fonds National d’Art Contemporain, Bibliothèque Nationale, Paris, Museum of photography, (Museu da Imagem), Braga, Portugal, etc.
