Lina Victoria Persson

Lina V Persson (Stockholm, 1979) is a photographer, art director and bookmaker based in Barcelona. Lina studied graphic design at Central St. Martins from 1999 to 2002. She spent nine years in London, engaging herself with a variety of creative projects, such as working at photography galleries and bookstores (Atlas gallery, The Photographer’s Gallery), before moving to Barcelona in 2008. Lina has been the assistant of international photographers (Tomas Gidén, Edgar Martins, Jordi Bernadó), contributed work for magazine editorials and been the editor and designer of the following photobooks: Edgar Martins: The Dimishing Present (2006), Quentin De Briey: The Other Day (2010), Quentin De Briey: 10x15 (2012), Vacances 1952 (self-published, 2013) and Bye, (self-published, 2013) the latter was shortlisted for 'the best photobooks of the year' at PhotoEspaña 2014. Her work has been featured in a series of solo and group exhibitions: Solo show 'As rhythm was easy' (Impossible Project Barcelona 2013) 'Summer Times' curated by Miss Van (Yusto/Giner Gallery 2014) Fotofestiwal (Lodz 2016).
