For Pauline Hisbacq, photography is about poetry. Focusing on portraits or still lifes, bodies or objects, she observs how forms are feelings and desires.With analog photography or vidéo stills, she tells stories about youth, desire, love, and nostalgia,

Pauline Hisbacq is born in 1980. She lives and works in Paris.

She graduates from ENSP of Arles in 2011. Then, she went to New York for a postgraduate in ICP.

Her photographic work has been shown in Salon de Montrouge in Paris (2011), in Jeune Création (2013, 2016, 2018), in Rencontres de la Jeune Photographie Internationale of Niort (2014), festival PhotoSaintGermain in Paris (2017), Friche Belle de Mai in Marseille (2017).

Three books have been published : Les battements (One-Ink publisher, 2012), Natalya (Sept Editions, 2016) and Le feu (September Books, 2018).

She currently works as a photographer in the Rodin Museum and she is represented for editorial and advertising work by Brigitta Horvat
