Raphaël Bourelly (born in 1984) is a French self-taught photographer, working and living in Paris. He quickly angled his work towards urban, and more precisely the relation between man and his environment. Exploring afoot big areas, places where people live, as well as places where few people go, he tries to use light and emptiness to tell stories about loneliness, but also to evoke a certain poetry in those moments when nothing happens.
