Robin Lopvet

Photographer

Born in 1990 in the Vosges, Robin Lopvet is a multimedia artist working on the issues of language games, economy of recovery, parody, DIY and play. Practicing digital retouching for about fifteen years, it is part of this post-photographic wave that claims a retouche assumed, visible, bringing a pictorial gesture in practices During his studies in engineering sciences, he discovered photography and decided to join the School of Art of Lorraine in Epinal where he obtained his DNAP in 2012. He then joined the National School of Photography in Arles, and finishes his studies at ICP, New York. Based in Paris, he exhibits regularly in France and internationally (United States, Netherlands, Japan, China, Spain, Poland and Russia) while working in professional image editing. In particular, he won the Audience Award at the Unseen Talent Contest in Amsterdam. During the summer of 2017, he attended and directed a video for the South African artist Roger Ballen. It is part of Galerie2600 and the Toy Store Gallery. In parallel, he co-manages the Club Late Music label, produces music, organizes parties and is a DJ. He lives and works on the Internet.
