Tine Bek

Photographer

Tine Bek (born 1988 in Frederiksund) grew up in Denmark. She moved to Glasgow to study Fine Art Photography at Glasgow School of Art continuing on to pursuing a postgraduate degree.

Recent exhibitions include Studio Pavilion at House For an Art Lover during Glasgow International (2018), Carlsberg City gallery, part of Copenhagen Photo Festival (solo) (2018), Antology series at Fotogalleriet, Oslo (solo)(2017), Streetlevel Photoworks, Glasgow (2016), Gallery 9b, Portland, US (2016) Aperture Summer Show, New York (2015)

Bek has produced a number of artist solo publications, alongside creating her own publishing house in 2015, Earth Saga Press, publishing group publications focused especially on identity, gender and photography.

From 2016-18 she co-ran and curated Glasgow gallery 16 Nicholson Street.

Bek lives and works in between Copenhagen and Glasgow.
