Edition № 002 feat. Jade Cantwell, Tiago Casanova, Corine Hörmann

Edition № 002 combines the works of Jade Cantwell (Australia), Tiago Casanova (Portugal) and Corine Hörmann (Netherlands). The editions of Der Greif are based on a cooperative principle between the submitting photographers and Der Greif, therefore all parties are compensated for each sold edition.

Based on the exhibition »A Process«, Der Greif presents high-quality limited editions featuring 18 international, selected photographers. These editions – showing new compositions and combinations – ask the viewer to reconsider rigid concepts of conventional photographic editions. De- and re-contextualization is core principle of Der Greif, setting images next to each other in order to establish powerful dialogues, allowing images to grow and creating new imaginary worlds.

Jade Cantwell graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a combined degree in Media Arts and International Studies. Jade started shooting whilst she was living in Mexico as a way to document her experience. Her time in Mexico instilled a love of the surreal and absurd in everyday life. She is currently residing in Melbourne, Australia working with photography and moving image.
