Alena Schmick

Photographer

Alena Schmick is a portrait photographer, who lives and works in Berlin. She holds a Master of Arts in Photographic Studies from the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts for which she received the scholarship of the German National Academic Foundation.  Alena’s practice spans editorials for various magazines, photographing prominent figures and professionals in the fields of arts and culture, as well as long-term personal projects regarding sexuality and gender.
