Alessandro Falco, 1986, is a documentary photographer whose visual research focuses on environmental and humanitarian issues affecting the Amazon rainforest. His reportages have been published by international media including The New York Times, National Geographic, Die Zeit, CNN, GQ, Newsweek Japan, Al Jazeera, Bloomberg, Vice News, The Intercept, Liberation, L'Espresso, Il Reportage and Sport Week. His photographs have been recognized and exhibited in galleries and museums in Europe, United States, Latin America and China. In 2016, his reportage on a severe drought in Brazilian North East had been displayed by United Nations for the 1st World Humanitarian Summit, in Istanbul. Falco lives in Belem do Pará, the gateway to the Amazon river.
