Anna Debryanskaya

Anna Debryanskaya, born 1987, is an artist working with photography and video. A practicing psychotherapist and MD, she focuses on the therapy for minorities, an experience that influenced her to a great degree. Her art entwines the problematic relationships between personal and political with the ideas of ecofeminist movement, and follows the principles of equality, horizontality and visibility of discriminated groups and communities. Anna is currently living and working in Moscow, Russia. She studies in Docdocdoc School of Modern Photography in St. Petersburg.
