Raised in Southern Italy, Antonio Miucci (1994) is an Italian visual artist and fashion photographer, he lives and works in Milan. He holds a MFA in Photography and a BFA in Arts and New Media Studies, both from Brera Fine Arts Academy. His works have been exhibited in Italy and abroad and published in several international art and photography books and magazines. His ethic and aesthetic research in art and photography deal with the themes of Queerness, gender and personal identity, with a focus on masculinity, celebrating self-expression, bravery, vulnerability, beauty, human brightness and darkness. Through the conscious use of vibrant colors, the willingness of the author is to create evocative and layered imaginaries connected to the concepts of archetypes, infinite rebirth and metamorphosis, mixing photographic genres with visual arts. Subjects in front of the camera celebrate who they want or choose to be with no prejudice and boundless freedom. In that moment, a timeless and spaceless aesthetic dimension is born, where protagonists give life to their Inner-Self in its most varied and fluid forms of expression, revealed through a profound and personal exchange between the realities of the artist and the person portrayed.
