Arron Hsiao

Photographer

Arron Hsiao is an artist based in Taiwan. He holds a master's degree in EE and received photographic training at Fotosoft institute of Photography, Taiwan. The topics of Arron's art are mainly about the concept and the essence behind the surface of the image. He also uses art as a critic and introspection about the environment around our lives. Because of his background in the electronics profession, his work also experiments on the digital possibility of art, and searches for the possibility of new photography and new media. Through Arron's career, He has received awards from LICC Art, Canon New Cosmos of photography, 1_wall, and MIO photo. He has participated in several group photography exhibitions at Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography and major photography exhibitions in Taiwan and China, and held solo exhibitions in Taiwan and Japan. He's currently working as an artist and photographer in Taiwan.
