Diego Camposeco

Diego Camposeco is a Mexican-American artist (sometimes using light) from Burgaw, NC whose photography and videos explore the interactions among labor, identity, language, color, and the environment. He received his BFA in studio art with highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has worked in Brazil, Mexico, and the United States. In 2016, he was included in the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University and Speed Art Museum joint exhibition "Southern Accent," as well as "Created by Light" at the Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington, NC in 2017. In 2018, he served as an artist-in-residence for Duplin County Schools in North Carolina.
