Dominic Hawgood

Since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2014 Hawgood has won the British Journal of Photography International Photography Award, and been selected for Catlin Guide, The London Open (Whitechapel Gallery), Fresh Faced Wild Eyed (Photographers Gallery) and 20/20vision (by Louise Clements of FORMAT Festival).  He has also been shortlisted for the Source-Cord Prize, reGeneration3 , and Magnum Photo & PhotoLondon Graduate Photographers Award.  Hawgood has been awarded residencies with Planch(es) Contact (France), RedMansion (China), and also commissioned to produce new work by the European Photo Exhibition Award that will tour Norway, France, Germany and Italy in 2016.  A recent publication by 1000Words Magazine included a commissioned text from art critic Lucy Soutter, coinciding with a well received first solo show at TJ Boulting (London).  He currently has a new solo show The Anointing Water Version 1.0 at Oonagh Young Gallery in Dublin heading PhotoIreland festival.
