Born in Germany in 1973, I grew up in the Frankfurt-area and took up photography early in life. After graduating from medical school, I started to intensify my photographic work, leading to first solo exhibitions, mainly focusing on street-photography at that time. In 2009 and 2011 I took part in workshops with David Alan Harvey (MAGNUM), leading to a change of my photographic approach towards conceptual and documentary. ​ I came back to - and live in - the Frankfurt-area of Germany. ​ ​
