Duda Carvalho

Brazilian born in 1968 and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Duda is a photographer and filmmaker. Influenced by cinema from a young age, he began his carer in 1987 in the editorial and commercial fields, from 35mm reportage to large format studio photography, and later to experimental filmmaking. Dedicated to independent work, he often seeks out individuals on the streets of Rio, exploring intersections of documentary and personal work, crossing filmmaking and photography to project his voice and aesthetic of Brazilian beauty.
