Elvira Kolerova

Photographer

Elvira Kolerova is a Russian-born photographer who lives and works in Berlin, Germany. She studied American cultural studies (M.A.) at the Humboldt University of Berlin, and photography at the Neue Schule für Fotografie, Berlin. Her works have been exhibited in the UK and South Korea, and published in diverse magazines worldwide. The search for harmony in the shadowy side of life, as well as moments associated with pain and malaise―as an important part of human development―are at the center of my work. Following an approach that is both artistic and documentary, I aim at creating photographic narratives that are equally atmospheric and meaningful.
