Hello, my name is Fabian Berg, 30 years old and an autodidact photographer who was the manager of a rescue service company in Dortmund before the war. I am a storyteller, survivor, adventurer and driven by the will to change something. So, right after the war started, I decided to quit my job and go back to full-time photojournalism. I have been documenting the war and its effects on people and the economy for 12 weeks now. I plan to stay here for the next 1-2 years, documenting the progress of the war and subsequent healing of the country. In the past, the focus of my life has always alternated between emergency medicine and photography. I started out in the field of event and news photography, but in recent years I've mainly worked in commercial photography.
