My name is François Jonquet I was born in 1967 and grew up in a large family surrounded by my parents and two sisters, in the suburb of Paris, No camera at home, my first memories of photographic images are the Christmas evenings at my maternal grandparents' house during which we watched a slideshow about family photographic productions. I started taking picture in the mid-eighty with a friend from Iceland, stopped for a while during my medical studies. For the last three years, I have been a general practitioner for deaf patients (we use, patient and I, sign language to communicate) in Bordeaux, where I live since 2009, after being an emergency room physician for over 15 years. I am a father and a husband too with three kids, all are young adult or teenager.  I have accumulated a lot of images since and now it’s time to look at them and share them.
