In the photography of Isolde Woudstra (based in Utrecht, the Netherlands) everything seems ever so natural but also confusing at the same time. She creates images that seem just as possible as unlikely by curating a scene that could have been extracted deep from within the human psyche. Her images cut out unnecessary noise and leave us with clean, yet very natural and unpolished freeze frames. Woudstra's work consists of editorial portraits as well as personal projects and has been published in magazines such as Dazed, i-D, Subbacultcha, Kaltblut and Metal.
