Jennifer Cabral

Photographer

Born in São Paulo, Brazil. Lives in New Jersey, U.S. Since 2010 I've held a permanent position as a Library Collection photographer at Princeton University. I am part of a team of photographers responsible for capturing with accuracy and precision items from the Rare Books and Special Collections of this institution. Using cutting edge technology I must bridge analog formats and digital technologies. I try to bring the same effort and skills into my personal projects in photography. I strive to present the details of analog and digital images in print form. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography from Escola Guignard, and a degree in Social Communications from Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais in Brazil. In 2001, I relocated to the United States to attend the photography program at the School of Visual Arts in New York. I am a member of National Press Photographer Association and I’ve been working as an independent photographer in central New Jersey for over fifteen years.
