Jennifer Lauren Martin (b. 1990, USA) graduated from the Slade School of Fine art in 2013. Her work primarily focuses on the site of the photograph. Martin's series »Doha: A Survey of Material«, completed during the 2013 residency UK Qatar Artists Exchange at the Katara Art Center is one of many, which surveys a cityscape and aims to provide a robust sense of the visual and cultural landscape. Martin's installations point to the photographic moment or event and bring the moment into a physical interactive present for viewers. She is currently living and working in London, UK.
