Juan Madrid is a photographer and book artist currently based in the Hudson Valley of New York. He received a BFA in Professional Photographic Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology. His own photographic practice centers around the idea of place and finding strangeness, nuance, and beauty in the banal. In his free time he likes to ride his bike, sleep in hammocks, and hike.
