Justina Leston

Photographer

Justina Leston is a photographer and graphic designer from Argentina based in Berlin since 2017. Studied photography in Buenos Aires in the Andy Goldstein School of Photography and took part in different workshops under the mentorship of argentinian photographers such as Lorena Fernandez, Eduardo Gil and Alberto Goldenstein. Between 2012 and 2015 she studied engraving and printmaking at the National University of the Arts in Buenos Aires and continues learning lithography in Berlin at the Künstlerhaus Bethanien. 
In 2016 Justina is selected to participate in the Summer School of Photography ISSP, Latvia, in the Editing Workshop led by Paolo Woods. In the same year she is finalist of the 5th AAMEC Award for Contemporary Photography Argentina and in the Felifa FUTURA 2016 Prize. In 2017, she has her first solo show in the Alliance Française of Buenos Aires and was finalist in the "Francisco Ayerza Prize” and showed her work in a group exhibition at the Centro Cultural Borges. The same year, Justina is shortlisted at the CdF of Montevideo with her Dummy book "Who spies on us?" Between 2018 and 2019 took part of the ISSP Masterclass under the mentorship of Peter Bialobrzeski (Latvia and Sicily). In November 2019 participated in Mark Power’s Workshop held by Void and ASX, in Athens, Greece.
