Kukka-Maria Rosenlund is a visual artist who combines camera-based techniques and various material structures. She examines issues related to transformation and identity. Rosenlund has graduated from Aalto University’s Master’s program in Photography in Helsinki Finland 2020. She has studied fine arts also in Antwerp, Belgium 2013 and Buenos Aires, Argentina 2018. Most common themes in the series are nature elements, inherited garden, family archives, subconscious, childhood dreams and growth. The body of works examines different medias such as analog film, digital photography, stoneware clay and various image transfer processes. She has participated in several exhibitions in Finland and abroad, such as Photographic Gallery Hippolyte (Helsinki 2020), Transeurope Photography (Athens 2019), The Finnish Museum of Photography (Helsinki 2018), Fotografia Europea (Reggio Emilia, Italia 2017).
