Profile

Marcus Glahn

Photographer

The photographs of Marcus Glahn address the subjects space and visibility in a broad sense. The typologic imaging of non-places, pragmatic architecture, (bizarre) traces of human activities or detailed photographic field studies of spaces that remain largely hidden from the public are the main subject of his work. A photography in a documentary style enables him to present the character of these milieus and people in a manner that is objective and free of any prejudice. His pictures move between the intersection of social studies, documentary portrait photographs and the depiction of his findings through immersive exploration and field study.
