Maria Dabrowski

Photographer

Maria Dabrowski, born in 1988 in the Netherlands, is a Dutch photographer of predominantly long-term (documentary) projects, both at home and around the world. She has published several books of solo work and produced photography for musicprojects. Dabrowski has taken part in solo and group exhibitions in the Netherlands and abroad. Her projects, which show considerable involvement in the portrayed subjects, are often represented as photo installations and in book form. In 2014, Dabrowski started to investigate her own familyhistory with the project ‘Odsłonić’, which resulted in a photobook that became nominated for MACKS First Book Awards 2020 and awarded for The Best Dutch Book Designs 2019. Dabrowski Graduated with honours from the LUCA School of Arts in Brussels, Belgium, MA in Visual Arts, Photography.
