Martyna Basta

Martyna Basta spent her early years playing classic guitar also getting awards on international competitions in the country and abroad. She was a laureate of Ministry of Culture and National Heritage scholarship twice. After graduating from music high school, she decided to focus on studying photography. She finished a long-term course on the Academy of Photography in Kraków, now she is a student of Cultural Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. In her work she examines personal relations with inexplicable fear, nostalgia and loneliness as well as in relationships and between them.
