Mischa de Stroumillo is a visual artist based in the UK, primarily working within photography. In 2016, she graduated from London Collage of Communication with a BA (hons) in Photography. Her practice explores the entanglements of ecological fragility, through the rituals of walking, foraging and the photographic medium. Drawing on indigenous knowledge, various folklores and ecological philosophies, Mischa’s work attempts to unravel the threads of human supremacy. Oscillating between myth and experience, her imagery seeks land in which nature is superior, often at the risk of environmental degradation.
