Ning Kai/Sabrina Scarpa

Photographers Ning Kai (1987, China) and Sabrina Scarpa (1991, The Netherlands) cross paths in 2013. At that point, they are at the start of their careers and both are getting their work and name noticed in their countries. Recognition came through various photo exhibitions, for example at Three Shadows Photography Art Centre in Beijing (CN) and at Gemeentemuseum Den Haag (NL). Kai has been nominated for the China New Photo Award and Sabrina for New Dutch Photography Talent. In 2015, they decide to start working as a pair, Ning Kai/Sabrina Scarpa, and begin their first project: The Land Between Us.
