Paul Hennebelle

Paul Hennebelle was Born In 1992 in New-York, as a French citizen, he grew up in France and Belgium. He studied photography at "ESA le 75" in Bruxelles, and graduated in June 2016. Always in black and white, with 35mm film, his work mainly focus on the concept of identity, the relation with the territory, the sense of belonging, in an intimate way as well as a documentary way. In 2017, his first solo exhibition at Contretype in Bruxelles, and the release of the artist book on the same subject. He currently lives in Lebanon where he exhibited his last work "Brown Eyes and Sand" at the French Institute of Beirut. This work draws a parallel between the Lebanese youth and the rebuilding of Beirut.
