Ragna Arndt-Maric

Ragna Arndt-Marić worked as a medical doctor before she started studying photography. For her personally, it is human being itself which has priority in both fields. Therefore, individuals and their interpersonal relationships in context with social issues are focus of her work. 2016/17 Ragna Arndt-Marić enrolled in a bachelor's degree in photography at University of Applied Sciences Europe in Hamburg. Since then she has been able to show her work at various exhibitions such as Triennial of Photography Hamburg and European Month of Photography (EMOP) Berlin in 2018. 2019 she was selected for an artist residency directed by Magnum photographer Antoine d´Agata in Arles, France. 2019 she was also shortlisted by the Felix-Schoeller-Photo-Award in the category „Best work by an emerging photographer“. Ragna Arndt-Marić completed her studies with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2020. For her thesis "fall, rising" she received the Alma-del-Banco Prize. As one of the three winners of Blurring the Lines 2020 her work "fall, rising" will be exhibited in Paris in November this year.
